Phil’s entry into the world of Amateur Radio was preceded by growing up in a family of off-roaders and people who were interested in self-reliance. Additionally, Phil has always been interested in learning new skills and hobbies that intermingle themselves and build upon each other. Topics like 80’s and 90’s cars that have plastic parts no longer in service mixed with 3D printing. Followed by First Person Quads and Ham Radio and 3D Printing.

This site is an exploration of Amateur Radio with shared learnings that Phil has come across while coming up to speed.

Hams (Amateur Radio Operators) were the OG gadget people and there are a lot of gadgets that frankly are relatively cheap! Phil has found, good ones and bad ones and will share his findings along the way.
